Maiden Voyage

I spent many a long evening contemplating the different ways I could do my duty to waste the the dwindling valuable space on the Internet. What could I blog about? And how could I compete with such concepts as a picture a day for 365 days, or a review of the most disgusting burger promos from fast food restaurants? I needed an original concept.

So what will take place here is an array of different stories of the random things I think about. "This has been done too," you say, but I beg to differ. This will be a little different because the random things I think about mean NOTHING. You can't infer any universal truths from these musings, they don't speak on current events, you really probably won't take anything away from them at all. I'm guessing they will usually take place in the format of this first one, but who knows.

So, without further ado, here is the first installment of my blog. I call this piece "Hypochondrioak". It is inspired by a hike at Eagle Creek in the gorge I had with Janine earlier in the Fall. I have to give Janine credit for the concept as is the case with a lot of creative stuff that goes on in my life. We feed off each other like a leech on a slightly fatter leach. Anyway, this could be the first volume of a greater series, it could be the only one. Really the only thing that matters here is that you are bored out of your mind if you are reading this and I hope this can provide you with at least some reprieve....enjoy.

This is great. It was such a funny concept, and it's awesome. So what? Everyone else is too good to leave comments except for Rose and I? Lame.

I read it too Bry. You can't escape the Swede. There's no escaping us. Just think of Hans Blix!
